- שְׁאֵיבָהf. (שָׁאַב) drawn water. Y.Orl.II, 62a משום ש׳ ניכרת (ed. Krot. once שאובה) (the bath is disqualified) on account of the drawn water which is distinguishable (by its color). B. Bath.66a מכלל דש׳ דאורייתא this would indicate that the disqualification of a bath through an addition of drawn water is Biblical law.
